Harris Claims Group appointed to deal with major Camden Market fire claim.
Harris Claims Group has been retained by Camden Market Holdings, the owners of the market building damaged by a devastating fire last Saturday, 9 February. A major loss team headed by Harris Director, Paul Lawrence, is now liaising closely with Certo Loss Adjusters representing building insurers, Fusion Insurance, to manage the owner's multi-million pound losses.
The fire, which received worldwide media coverage, broke out in the Canal Market at approximately 7:10 pm and quickly spread to market stores, shops and the local 'celebrity' pub, the Hawley Arms. At its height over 100 firefighters and 20 appliances were in attendance, until the blaze was brought under control about 3 hours later.
We are pleased to report that following the withdrawal of police cordons, the reopening of roads and a major clean up operation, five out of the six markets in Camden are now trading as normal.
